Estuary Flyfishing Lodge sits idyllically on the bank of Glomma where it makes a bend approximately 1500 meters down from the famous Kvennan Camping. The river in this area is rather shallow and wide. This combined with the existence of a number of small islands in the river has created a very attractive environment for fly-fishing enthusiasts. This stretch of the river has a formidable reproduction rate making it one of the best grayling and trout fishing one can experience in Norway. This beat is now a fly-fishing only zone, with a bag limit and limitations on the number of licenses issued.
We are currently restoring the historical landscape on and around the farm in order to create a perfect environment for fishing tourists. On these pages you can see what we have to offer for the fly fishing season of 2011.

The March 2008 issue of Trout & Salmon contains a nice and vividly written story about of the flyfishing zone and our lodge. The author is one of their most acclaimed contributors - Mr. Jon Beer.
