The Farm

If the visitor wishes to get the little extra out of his stay then the Lodge offers the possibility of experiencing life on a Norwegian mountain farm, as the Lodge is owned and operated by an organic dairy farmer.  The farm was established around 1770, and has been in the same family throughout it’s turbulent and fascinating history . It is now certified as an organic farm. We have a lot of different animals inhabiting the farm landscape. Milk, meat and potatoes are our main produce — and of course good fishing experiences...
